Advent Wreath
So you do realize you can make these out of anything.
And that they don't HAVE to have 3 purple candles and 1 pink candle.
Because, you see Advent wreathes are a devotional practice...a tradition rooted in and from individual expressions of faith. Slowly these advent wreathes have been brought into our liturgy. They are not a formal part of our liturgical practice as Catholics. They are part of our devotional, private, and household practices.
As such...do what you want! Get 4 pillar candles....use tealights...use candles that are already in your life. . .
This is just a basket with 4 taper candles and we tossed some greens into the basket. It was simple. But did the job perfectly.
